There are two towers in the ruins by where the sand starts sloping down. By the tower next to the speed challenge, you’ll find a chest containing some Halos. You’ll gain a Witch Heart fragment the first time you complete this challenge. Since the fifth piece is much higher than the fourth, it’s easier to go from 3rd to 5th, and then down to 4th, than it is to go from 3rd down to 4th, and then back up to 5th. Grab the pieces in the order they appear- except, consider grabbing the fifth piece before the fourth one instead. Use Butterfly Masquerade to help you float between the platforms. You have 40 seconds to get the five pieces. Go to the level above to activate a speed challenge. The first set leads you to the Echoes of Time : The Demon’s Presence. You’ll then gain the Bewitchment : “Stand on top of the windmill tower.” Echoes of TimeĪs you exit the oasis area, stay toward the right side. Use wall jumps and Spider Masquerade to get to the top of any of the towers. Though there is croaking everywhere in this chapter, the only Toad you’re really looking for is located behind the cliff wall, stuck to the cliff wall. Equip a quick weapon like the yo-yo or Colour My World to help you keep up with them. The fight is against two angels, Grace and Glory. The golden portal is located by the waterfall. Verse 3 is the last verse in this immediate area. Use Witch Time whenever possible to gain more ground. Keep using Dark Dispatch to take out the remaining enemies. This keeps you away from the clouds while also being able to damage the remaining enemies. Dark Dispatch is extremely effective at helping you travel quickly while still touching the ground. ![]() As soon as you're in control of Bayonetta again, use Dark Dispatch.Īt the start of this chapter walkthrough, we mentioned upgrading Dead End Express-the top row of Bayonetta’s track which unlocks Dark Dispatch (Foward + R, R). Keep an eye on Bayonetta as you’re laying down tracks to make sure she does get swept into the clouds. This can seriously clear out most of the baddies. Luckily you have a new train friend and a new weapon, the Deadend Express to help you-and they help a lot!Īt the start of the challenge, use Wartrain and try to hit all the enemies while spamming as many track signal attacks as you can. This means staying on the ground to increase traction. ![]() The tricky terrain makes it so that you’ll be swept into the clouds by the wind. This time the enemies are different, and you’ll need to survive for 100 seconds. The challenge in this verse is similar to the one with the tricky terrain in Chapter 3, Verse 4. Head over to the next tower to find the entrance to Verse 2. There’s a Card Pack inside one of the ruined towers along the border of the water. Once all the segments are gone finish off the enemy to complete the verse.Īfter completing Verse 1, head right. Wartrain can also do this by pressing B to elevate the tracks. You can earn the Bewitchment : “Hit a Castellanus core while at least one segment is intact.” Madama Butterfly is tall enough to hit them while there are still plenty of segments left. Wartrain is great at delivering a lot of damage over a large area and can be quite useful at taking out the tower sections while also damaging the other smaller enemies. While they’re doing that, however, you’ll need to look after Bayonetta as normal enemies will spawn and begin attacking her. The only way to bring down the tower is by using your demons to attack each segment-bringing it down a floor at a time. ![]() Not only are they sitting on top of a huge tower, but the tower itself is surrounded by a huge barrier that prevents you from even coming close to it. This one is different though because you won’t actually be able to hit them. This verse features a new enemy, Castellanus. You should also unlock, at least, the first skill from each row-the same goes for Wartrain’s skills. Fully upgrading the top row of Bayonetta’s track unlocks Dark Dispatch, which like all “R, R” moves is super beneficial. As soon as you start Chapter 8, you should check out the skills for the Dead End Express and Wartrain Gouon.
